Your privacy matters. This policy explains how SpareWise, developed by Next App Factory LLC, handles your information.
SpareWise does not require an account and never links to your bank. There is nothing to sign in to. You can track your spending without giving us any personal information.
Your transactions, categories, reports and receipt images are stored only on your device. Your receipt images never leave your phone unless you explicitly allow it for a single harder-to-read receipt. You can export or delete everything at any time.
Receipts are read on your device by default — free, unlimited and offline. For a receipt the on-device reader cannot handle, you can opt in to a cloud step. By default this sends only the extracted OCR text, never the image, to our processing service (Google Cloud / Vertex AI). The image is sent only if you explicitly allow it for that receipt. Your receipts are never used to train models.
To keep the app reliable we may receive anonymous events, such as the app version, operating system, a random install identifier that is not an advertising ID, and whether an ad or a purchase screen loaded. These are never linked to your identity and never include your transactions or receipt contents.
The free version of SpareWise is supported by ads served by Google AdMob, shown only on the Reports and Transactions screens — never while you scan, review, edit or save. Where required, Google's consent form asks for your choices first, and on iOS the App Tracking Transparency prompt applies. SpareWise Pro removes ads. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
The optional SpareWise Pro subscription is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment information.
SpareWise is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
